Arbonne 7-day Cleanse Review

I'm on day 5 using the Arbonne 7-day cleanse and have to admit that I have mixed reviews about this product. It will be easy to spare you the gory details because there aren't any. First, I must give you full disclosure. I recently signed on to be an Arbonne consultant. I will provide a full blog post on all my reasons to be a consultant later this month (and my opinions), but the main reason I signed on is because I absolutely LOVE the skin care line and wanted to receive the great discount. I had already decided that this was the skin care product I wanted to continue to use, so being a consultant was a no-brainer for me.

Since I have been slowly adopting healthier eating habits, I was really excited to receive the Arbonne nutrition products at a discount and was especially looking forward to trying the 7-day cleanse. I've never tried a cleanse before and was a bit nervous, based on what I've always heard about these types of products.

Here are my thoughts, so far:
  • I haven't seen ANY effects that I expected. None. I wasn't exactly looking forward to those 'effects', but I was prepared. Having said that, I am pee'ing ALOT. But, I'm also drinking a lot of water, so that is a factor. I already drink a lot of water during the day, so it isn't a big change for me. There is a notable difference so I will assume the cleanse is part of the reason.
  • I've lost 2 pounds since I started this cleanse. Is it water loss? I don't know. Since it's a cleanse, I'm supposed to be losing toxins, so should I assume this is the result? I didn't do this cleanse to lose fat, that's not the purpose. I read somewhere that most people have anywhere between 5 - 20 pounds of toxic waste in their system. So maybe that's what I'm losing.
  • I feel great! I have lots of energy, but that's not especially unusual either. Since I quit my day job and am concentrating on my jewelry business, I'm much happier and that definitely is a factor in my new found energy levels. However, Tuesday night was a rough night and I slept horribly (insomnia is something I've dealt with for as long as I can remember). Normally I am wiped out the next day, but I had no ill effects from my sleepless night. I even had a social function to attend Wednesday night and felt fantastic. That was very unusual for me. So, I do seem to have an increased level of energy.
  • My stomach is nice and flat - gotta like that! I do feel lighter and healthy. Not sure what that means exactly, but I do feel good. I like the fact that this cleanse is vegan-certified and gluten-free.
I have 3 more full days on the cleanse. I am eating healthy, as usual. My day usually consists of a good breakfast, an Arbonne vanilla shake in the afternoon (which I will also be reviewing soon), and a healthy dinner. I still am drinking my coffee in the morning, but I never have any other caffeine during the day. Sometimes I have a glass of wine at night.

Since I am a new Arbonne consultant and very interested in the Health and Wellness industry, I want very much to like all their nutritional products. But, I will report honestly what I think and experience. I didn't join Arbonne to build a 'nation' (as they like to call it). I honestly don't know how far I will take this business. I have my jewelry business which I absolutely love and feel this is a good balance.

If this cleanse is working as it should, then this has got to be the best darn cleanse on the planet! What other cleanses don't involve sudden rushes to the bathroom and discomfort. I hope this is the case, but I'm not convinced at this point. Right now, I feel like I'm just drinking flavored water (not bad tasting, by the way). I'm not sure if the experiences above can even be attributed to the cleanse or just from eating healthy and drinking a lot of water.

I will report my results once I've completed all 7 days.

What are your experiences with this cleanse? I'm really curious to know what everyone thinks about this product.
